Run first, then wall balls. Catch your breath and go again. The RAD SYNTH running shoes combine lightweight cushioning with a grippy rubber outsole. Cushioning with a response
The SwellFoam™ midsole combines supercritical EVA with TPEE. R.A.D designed it to balance cushioning, responsiveness and durability for regular training. That makes the SYNTH a shoe for today’s run and the next one. Because a daily trainer needs to be ready when your training plan suddenly starts looking suspiciously ambitious.

Start easy, settle into your pace and pick things up when you feel like it. The SYNTH is designed for a range of road running speeds. It has a 6 mm drop, describing the height difference between heel and forefoot. The heel stack is 38 mm. Your route and pace remain entirely your business.
Light and breathable
The engineered mesh upper combines low weight with strategically placed ventilation. This allows airflow through the material while you run. R.A.D lists 232 g for one shoe in US men’s size 9. That is a model weight with a specific reference size. It leaves you free to focus on breathing, rhythm and the next corner.
Grip for runs and workouts
The textured rubber outsole uses a herringbone tread to support traction while running. When your workout pairs runs with wall balls or other stations, the transitions count too. From the gym to Miami – right at the heart of the scene
R.A.D was founded by Ben Massey, a former British CrossFit athlete. The connection between training and distinctive style continues to shape the brand. The first R.A.D ONE launched in Miami in 2022: a shoe for the many different demands of the gym. That first model evolved into the ONE V2. Running and skate shoes have since joined the range. According to R.A.D, the gym remains at its heart.

Tin Slingers: Move iron together
Rogue x R.A.D Tin Slingers serves up another helping of gym culture. The published team challenge combines the Echo Bike with clean & jerks at increasing weights. Alongside prizes for strong teams, the format recognizes participation across entire gyms: a large number of submitted scores can earn equipment and shoes for the community. We like that showing up together has value in its own right. Cheering sets the atmosphere; moving iron is on the program.
A bigger stage, a closer look
The connection with Rogue is growing too: R.A.D was announced as the official footwear partner of the Rogue Invitational for 2026 and 2027. The partnership includes collaborative footwear projects and builds on events such as Tin Slingers. That connection to the training community now extends to a major stage for CrossFit and strongman.
