1. Affenhand packaging with less waste

One little checkbox at checkout. Together, a bigger difference for the environment 🌱🐵

For your next order, please let us leave out unnecessary packaging. We’re making our processes more environmentally friendly, one step at a time (you may already have seen our returns information). Together with you, we want to skip packaging that makes products look prettier but doesn’t protect them.

It won’t happen overnight. We’re also using up the less-than-ideal packaging we already have, so those resources don’t go to waste.

We aim to leave out:

  • Decorative materials that make a product look nicer without protecting it
  • New tissue paper
  • New bubble wrap
  • New boxes when suitable used boxes are available
  • Packaging used only to separate and organize items

2. Shipping

Within Germany, orders are shipped with insurance via Deutsche Post DHL, UPS (bulky items), GLS Germany (bulky items), or Emons (freight delivery).
For DHL deliveries, you can also have your order sent to a Packstation parcel locker in Germany if you’d prefer that to home delivery.

2.1. Shipping costs within Germany

  • Parcel shipping: EUR 6.99
  • Bulky items (e.g. a pull-up bar): EUR 26.99 per parcel
  • Freight delivery: EUR 49.99
  • Shipping for a Concept2 ergometer: EUR 49.99
  • Shipping for a tray of cans: EUR 12.99 per parcel

2.2. Delivery time

Delivery takes 1–5 days unless stated otherwise. For the specific delivery time, please check the information on the relevant product page.

2.3. EU shipping: neighboring countries

  • Parcel shipping: EUR 14.99
  • Bulky items (e.g. a pull-up bar): EUR 39.99 per parcel
  • Freight delivery: EUR 119.99
  • Shipping for a Concept2 ergometer: EUR 74.99 per parcel (per ergometer)
  • Shipping for a tray of cans: EUR 24.99 per parcel

We deliver to Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Czechia, and Austria.

2.4. Shipping to other EU countries

  • Parcel shipping: EUR 15.99
  • Bulky items (e.g. a pull-up bar): EUR 49.99 per parcel
  • Freight delivery: from EUR 294.99 (depending on the destination country)
  • Shipping for a Concept2 ergometer: EUR 89.99 per parcel (per ergometer)
  • Shipping for a tray of cans: EUR 24.99 per parcel

We deliver to Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Croatia, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary, and Cyprus.

2.5. Shipping outside the EU: Switzerland and Great Britain

  • Parcel shipping: EUR 17.99
  • Bulky items (e.g. a pull-up bar): EUR 59.99 per parcel
  • Freight delivery: EUR 279.99 (Switzerland only)
  • Shipping for a tray of cans: EUR 22.99 per parcel

Shipping costs for the rest of the world are calculated individually once you enter your address at checkout.

2.7. Freight delivery

Once we’ve made your Affenhand® gym gear in our workshop, it’s shipped to you by freight carrier! Delivery costs EUR 49.99 throughout Germany.

Please keep the following in mind for a smooth freight delivery:
1. Delivery is to the curbside, as the products arrive on pallets. At our warehouse, individual team members also handle the gym gear, so you can carry the individual parts away yourself without help.
2. Your delivery is scheduled in advance. As soon as your gym gear leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a text message from the carrier so you can choose your preferred delivery window. This lets you make sure you’ll be there when it arrives.
